St Boniface's Catholic College weekly Blog

Please find below a statement from the Chair of Governors to the press regarding actions at the College this afternoon, Thursday 28th March 2013. Everyone at the College feels that it is important for parents to be aware of this action.

“As a Roman Catholic Community, we expect all our staff not only to live up to the Nolan Principles of Public Life, but also to uphold the values and teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.

“We have been made aware of a written complaint expressing concern about staff conduct in their private lives which would fall short of those expectations. These concerns do not relate to pupils. Everyone has the right to a private life, but when concerns are raised, we have a duty to take them seriously. I am therefore commissioning an investigation into this complaint.

“I expect to be able to make a further statement once that investigation is concluded.”

Thank you for your continued support of the College during the difficult times

Andrew Davies
Acting Head teacher.
